40 Meatless Meals: Fondue

Prevent osteoporosis. Eat fondue!

I first made this fondue as an appetizer for Valentine's Day, and it's resurfaced as a Friday dinner in Lent a few times. I multiplied the original recipe by 4 to serve as an entree for 2.

Some ideas for dippers: croutons, blanched vegetables, and apple slices.

NB: The original quantities worked perfectly in the Little Dipper, but when I quadrupled it, I ended up having to transfer the mixture to the stove and whisk some cornstarch in to achieve the creamy consistency.
