The Art of Manliness is a blog dedicated to rediscovering the lost art of being a man. It features articles on helping men be better husbands, better fathers, and better men. In our search to uncover the lost art of manliness, we’ll look to the past to find examples of manliness in action. We’ll analyze the lives of great men who knew what it meant to "man up" and hopefully learn from them.
We do think that all of our readers, Church Ladies and Pious Men alike, will enjoy the site immensely.

Dear Church Ladies,
ReplyDeleteI was drawn into your wonderful site by the post on Princess Grace, thank you for posting this, and as I strolled down I came across this post on the "art of manliness." When I went to their website, breezing through page after page it became more and more obvious that church seemed not to play an important role for these men. This I feel is why we cannot get caught up in nostalgia, check out Churchgoing men are not a hangover of the old patriarchy but a new breed who are closely connected to their families.
We believe that the art of manliness must seek to honor and love God first and foremost while in the service of others. So a chivalrous spirit should be a principle characteristic of the art of manliness in our opinion.
Thank you for your beautiful blog and keep up the fine work.
Peace
