I've been avoiding CSAs because I need the rigidity of my meal planning and I also feel like I don't have the time to experiment with some things we've never tried before. Our cousin (who is local) and I are thinking of splitting one next summer to ease into it though. We have a company here that allows you to buy a box whenever you want, as opposed to a subscription, and I try to use that as often as possible.
